DOHA (Reuters) - South Korea got third place in the Asian Cup soccer finals in Egypt after beating Uzbekistan 3-2 on Friday.

Koo Ja-chul opened registration for Korea in 17 minutes and then made the team 3 - zero thanks to goals from Ji Dongwon scored in the 28 and 39.

Uzbekistan reduced the difference in the final minute of the first half after a penalty from Alexander Geynrikh, who added the second goal of the team in 53 minutes.
